In recent years the Irish economy has begun to focus on trade and industry and benefits from the rise in consumer spending, construction and business investment.  

 

As a European capital and by far the biggest city in Ireland, Dublin is naturally a centre for Irish social and cultural life. The city has a world-famous literary history, several well known theatres and is also the focal point for much of Irish Art and the Irish artistic scene.
